Northumberland Theatre Company will perform the 'Importance of Being Earnest'. The Importance of Being Earnest, A Trivial Comedy for Serious People is a play by Oscar Wilde. First performed on 14 February 1895 at the St James's Theatre in London, it is a farcical comedy in which the protagonists maintain fictitious personae to escape burdensome social obligations. Morpeth Book Festival

April 9, 2022 - April 10, 2022

A new weekend event being planned for April 2022, in partnership with Northumberland Libraries. Will include authors of: Crime, History, Historical Fiction, Biographies, ... Special interest / activities: poetry, children's programme, audio books, RNIB representative re availability for blind & partially sighted citizens.
