Northumberland Theatre Company

This is a professional theatre touring company now based in Amble, with NTC performing productions in Morpeth 2 or 3 times per year. The latest performance was Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ (Oct 2021), a farcical comedy in which the protagonists maintain fictitious personae to escape burdensome social obligations. Performances are held in either St. Georges Hall, New Life Christian Church, or Morpeth Town Hall.

We can confirm NTC will perform ‘The Wind in the Willows’ on Thurs 8th Dec 2022 (7.00pm) at New Life Christian Church. In this classic tale, Mole ventures forth from the comfort of his underground home to explore the outside world. There he meets Ratty and their relationship blossoms into a heart-warming friendship, as they embark on adventures together and meet other characters such as Badger and Toad!

Information on future productions is available via Northumberland Theatre Company website.

Theatre tickets for Morpeth performances are available either online via (BUY TICKETS), or direct from GMDT office (Morpeth Railway Station) / Morpeth Tourist Information (Chantry).
