Based on the true story of lifelong criminal Forrest Tucker (Robert Redford in his final film), who escapes from prison, yet again, at the age of 70, and goes on to commit an unprecedented string of heists that confounded the authorities. Pursuing the robber is detective John Hunt (Casey Affleck), who becomes captivated with Tucker’s commitment to his craft, while Sissy Spacek plays Jewel, a widow who loves him in spite of his chosen profession.
